I need to add links to static pages outside of XCart on the page header and remove the language drop-down menu. I also need to replace the vertical menu header cells with images, how do i do this. I have no PHP knowledge at all but do know HTML so please be gentle...

Just use html then - will work perfectly within the templates.

Thanks. Just not sure what template file i need to edit for the seperate menus for the image to replace the menu header text.

if you switch on the debug console in the xcart admin it will list which templates are used.

the template i think you mean is head.tpl
