Default 800 Pixel Home Pages vs. 100% Home Pages

What's everyones opinion?

If you are not sure what I mean, here's the details:

-800 pixel wide home page is fixed width. Usually people center this on the screen. It's easier to make complicated graphics work.

-100% pages fill out to 100% of the users screen. It makes the graphic layout a little trickier.

I'm personally on the fence about the issue. I like the 100% pages, but you can do way more graphics on the 800w fixed screen. I guess the tie breaker is the speed.

Default Go for 800 pixels centered.

Go for 800 pixels centered. Actually more like 780 or 790.

Don't forget the scrollbar of the browser! i'd go for 732 pixels, this makes
sure you don't get a ugly scrollbar on the bottom.

I my opinion a fixed width is much nicer for you text layout, with a 100%
width you should not use hard returns in your text because you will
never know where the return will show up on the page.

cheers Eddie
