I am having trouble finding a file; need help locating the "Apperance Options":
ie. admin > general settings > apperance options

Open the site in webmaster mode, it will tell you exactly which template is which. Moving to Template Editing.

I tried that and it lead me to the admin/configuration.tpl. Only problem is that when I looked at the fiel, I could not find information showing on the "apperance options" page on their?

All of the "Settings" are automatically read from the xcart_config table when you display the page. There are no static settings on the configuration.tpl page.

Take a look at the xcart_config table and you'll see what I mean. You can also easily add new config options here that you can use in your code.
