recommends.tpl on a static page

Is it possible to place recommends.tpl on a static page?
I tried:

{include file="modules/Recommended_Products/recommends.tpl" }

and yes, I checked Parse Smarty tags in the content of embedded pages
Didn't work?

So you just want a page of random products?

I actually did that MOD, but how come the recommends.tpl won't show in my static page?
