so, a few days ago, i did balinor's mod in this thread (http://forum.x-cart.com/viewtopic.php?t=12078&highlight=buy+image ), and it worked fine. well, today, i go to my site, and the "buy now" button and quantity drop box is no where to be found. i had to go back into add_to_cart.tpl to fix it. it had reverted to the old button.tpl path. what the hell? how could this happen?

May want to clear out your template cache...you may be seeing old versions of the site if you are editing through the admin panel

nah, it showed the button correctly the past few days. after it'd been showing up fine for a day, i cleared the cache and it was still fine...until this morning. dunno what the deal was.

I had changes get reversed to their original state once before.

Turns out the host had a problem and restored with a 5 week old backup! To top things off, they didn't even mention there was a problem or that they did the restore.

Needless to say, i'm not with them any more!
