Trying to remove "Thank you for using x-cart " on invoices and E-mails. Can't seem to locate this file .

Please be sure to search the forum thoroughly before posting, as many questions like this one have been answered numerous times.

Text like that is contained in Language Variables. Go to 'Languages' in your admin menu and search for 'X-Cart'. You will see all of the variables that contain that text, simply edit and save.

Webmonster,

There are 2 language variables that you will want to edit.

eml_signature
eml_thankyou_for_order

You can find them under the admin area >> Languages >> "Select topic:E-Mail"

I cannot find these two files. Have they moved with the version I have?

They are in skin1/mail/html

DO I have to be in WebMaster mode?

Even then I cannot locate these files.

Sorry, I thought you meant the actual templates. The language variables are in teh 'Languages' section of your admin area. Click on Languages, select your language, select E-mail and you will see all of the variables. Edit and save.
