Default Change News template

How the heck do I change the Title and text for the "News" template? This would be the one where the user signs up for a newsletter.

Thanks!

Default Try this

WebFire,

Try this

Admin > Webmaster mode > enable it > "open customer area in a new window"

Then click on those text... some text you can edit manually some you can't.

Well x, I can't seem to use Webmaster mode. When I click to open customer area on a new window, I geta javascript error. I do have DHTML menus that use Javascript, but they are includes and are wrapped in literal tags.

Any ideas? The error just repeats itself over and over and I have to close out the whole browser to escape it.

Sometimes popup stoppers will prevent webmaster mode from working.

You can also look under languages and change the text there.

I don't see anything under languages to change any texts. That is just for determing what language I am using.

As for the pop-up blocker, it is turned off, and I get the pop-up. But if I close that, I get the javascript error.

And what exactly do I do in webmaster mode to change the texts. All I see in the pop-up are links to the same templates that are in the admin.

open webmaster mode

in the window of the admin (not the popup) type in the address of your website.

you should then be shown your site from the customers viewpoint

bring the popup to the front and then rollover with your cursor on the template files in the popup, see how black borders surround the customer browser window for each template section

to change some text look at where the you want to change the text so for example authentication left click on that text once and another popup will appear with the text in it. change the text to what you want it to be then save.

Hi coct.

The problem is I get a javascript error whenever I try to use webmaster mode. But only for the store itself. It is an "Object Expected" error.

I guess I need to get past that first. Anyone have any ideas?
