I'm testing X-Cart and I'm trying to reset the template style to another template style (i.e. from blue to orange). When I run the switch, it says:

Copying Templates:
Copying skin1_original\images\Thumbs.db to skin1\images\Thumbs.db...[FAILED]

Fatal error: Fatal error occured while creating directories. Pleae check permissions and try again. Please correct the error(s) before proceeding to the next step.

Yes, I've adjusted the permissions, and even given ALL permissions on the directories to the EVERYONE user, and still this problem.

This is getting really frustrating I'm running Windows 2003 Server with PHP 4.3.8 and MySQL 4.0.20d. I've had nothing but problems with images in X-Cart. I read that X-Cart references CMD.EXE for some things. I HOPE this isn't necessary for X-Cart to function correctly on Windows.

I would contact X-Cart support for Windows help. They seem to be able to magically "fix" windows servers.

Sure would be nice if they'd POST their magic fixes so we don't have to wait for them to respond Since it's now the weekend I probably won't hear from them until at least Monday.

If it's a fresh install, I've simply gone into xcart/schemes/colors and copied over the appropriate files to change the colors. Usually you just have to copy over a css file and image files into skin1 directory.
