We are looking for a way to change the top menu (the tabs). Can anybody help us out here - this is what we want:

Top menu: Drop down subcategories
For navigation of information pages (not the shop and catalogue) we want a top navigation pane with the following:
* Drop down sub menus appear on mouse over - even if you donб╢t click
* letter based, not graphics (so download is faster and we can change it easily)
* we must be able to change font size and colour easily
* With easy administration for sequence and content (content management feature enabling us to change things easily).
* Must not be based on java - but java script is ok (we donб╢t want java as many users don't have this installed).
* Must not be based on frames

Illustrational example: www.fr.dk (uses layers)

LIke I answered your other post, you are going to have to roll up your sleeves and get into editing the templates. There are no drop in modifications for what you want to do, although I would advise that you read through the custom mods forum before posting for help.

Could anyone do this work? We are looking at other changes to the programs as well, and would like a quote for the work. Mayby someone has a menu that could be integrated into the templates? I am not sure is this is the right place to post, but would like to ask the community, before I asked the x-cart people to do it.

There are professional help request forums for this type of thing....

Fine, but if someone has a solution for this problem, I will stay in this forum for a while. I don't mind twinsting the code if I can I I have to give up, I will ask the moderator to move it. Thanks!

Any advice on this menu problem - there most be someone who made new menus?
