Just wonder if the staff note field in the order details, Admin page, is that visible to the customers? If not, is there anyway to make it invisible to customers , just like in xcart 4?

Staff notes are admin only. Customer cannot see this.

Is there a simple way to email admin if order notes (Not visible to customer) are added to an order by fulfillment staff? Email would just state "Order Notes added to Order # {Order_notes}. This question is for X-cart 4, sorry.

You have to get this custom coded. It is not something complicated to add but will require files changes.
