On my site, customers complain that they add products to the cart, after certain time i.e 30 minutes, the cart resets by itself (empties), so all the products added are removed from the cart since the cart is inactive.
Is there any way the cart does not resets by itself ?

There is a timeout setting in config.php and it is set to 1 hours by default (3600 in seconds). You can increase this time by changing that value.

define('XCART_SESSION_LENGTH', 3600);
