Hi,

we're working on an x-cart custom template and have run into a strange problem. When a user clicks a root category from the menu they are taken to a page displaying the sub categories and displays some products, however the products are not in that category, additionally, if a user then clicks a product they are taken to the homepage?

I have tried making a search on the site, this seems to work and clicking the product takes you to the correct page.

Any ideas? I've tried regenerating links and removing cache files.
