Default How to display main sku on product page instead of variant SKU
We want to only display the main sku on the product page for products with variants. Right now, the sku changes every time a variant is selected. I've searched the forum but couldn't find a solution. We are using X-Cart Gold v4.4.5.

This behavior is controlled by func.js in skin/common_files/modules/ Product_Options. You can also modify product_details.tpl and take out the id from the $product.productcode line as the js code is looking for it to replace with variant sku
