![]() Has anyone used smarty caching for their x-cart installation?
I would like to know how to enable caching for only certain template files. |

![]() If you check smarty.class.php caching is set to false. I am able to cache templates within a template. by following FAQ at smarty site.
I wanted to know if anyone has done this and if so how much faster is it? |

![]() I am trying to optimize the performance of the cart by caching. However, home.tpl is always called and this contains many other templates so you cannot cache home.tpl else you get the same info.
The only way is to individually turn caching on and save an underlying template then turn cache off. |
