Default Is there a way for add to cart button to bypass cart.php

Hi!

I have gotten quite stuck and would appreciate some help.

Is there a way to skip the cart.php page and go directly to /cart.php?mode=checkout when someone adds an item to the cart?

I have tried changing the url, but can't seem to find the right place. Any direction will be much appreciated!

Thanks!

You have to change the cart.php file. When it sets a redirect URL - set it to cart.php?mode=checkout

And then in your general settings in the x-cart backend, make sure that you have the redirect URL option selected.
