test site vs live site
Hi - this seems like a dumb question but I've been searching through the user guide and forums with no luck. Since going live, I've only made minor changes to my home page that I've got away with doing on the live site. Now I want to make a number of changes at once and I'd like to do them on a test site before moving them to my live site. How do I do this in x-cart ? Thanks..

Re: test site vs live site
Well you wouldn't do that within your current x-cart - you'd need to make a complete copy of your shop, either in a subfolder, or subdomain (ensuring it's hidden from customers and search engines) or build it locally, offline, on your computer. Plenty of people have done this, and so there are plenty of posts in the forum on doing that.
