Default Have some questions....

Ok how do you change the width on the sub menu on the right
example -
http://www.illinoiswinecellar.com/shop/customer/

I'd like to make it a little wider..

Also, I'd like to put the cart information on the header and possibly put the newsletter there in replace. what files do I need to edit?

It doesn't say in the help file

These smarty templates are a little complicated because theres so many of them.. it'd be nice if x-cart gave you a text file with every smarty temp on there and tell you what each file is and does..

thanks,
chris

To adjust the width of the menu on the right edit customer/home.tpl, you'll see the <TD> tag after the main content that you can simply insert a WIDTH= into to stretch it out more.

As for the cart information in the header... Edit customer/menu_cart.tpl and take some of the code from this and put it into the head.tpl, then comment out {* comment *} the customer/menu_cart.tpl in the customer/home.tpl and move the include for the newsletter in its place.

There are many tpl's but once you edit a few carts you will slowly learn where each part of the site is, you can also enable the debug console in the Admin -> general settings to see what files make up the page your viewing OR use the Webmaster mode.

hth.

Unless you want the alternative pricing, you can remove it by going to General Settings and then clearing this field...

Alternative currency symbol (empty to disable). Note that credit card charges are performed using primary currency:

Default some width problems

I might as well keep posting in this forum so I don't flood the forum with my problems..

Anyways I don't know how to fix the width in the admin panel - check this out

www.illinoiswinecellar.com/shop/admin

the body is like 100 percent.. anyone know the file that controls this?

Also, the width on the submenu on this page (user login, help)
http://www.illinoiswinecellar.com/shop/customer/

is to skinny.. but the width on this page is the way I like it -

http://www.illinoiswinecellar.com/shop/customer/product.php?productid=1&cat=&page=

I don't understand why it's different on 2 different pages?

I'm going to try working these problems out myself in the next few hours.. but if anyone has 2 minutes that knows any answers it would save me some time..

Thanks for your help, have a good weekend
chris
