Default javascript placement in Xcart vs. Html

So, I've been looking for straight up instruction on how to impliment ANY .js
So where are the equivalent of these instructions?

HTML: place code into HEAD of HTML document
X-Cart: ? what .tpl ?

HTML: place code into BODY tag
X-Cart: ? what .tpl ?

HTML: place code into BODY of HTML document
X-Cart: place code where you want it in the template

I've been trying to solve this for months. Please help?

customer/home.tpl for the head tag. For the body part, any template/page you place the code will be in the body tag.
