This morning I had my host reboot my server since my site wasn't coming up. Now when I try to generate a catalog it times out and thus clicking inside the details of each product results in "page not found" message. ACK! They said they'll look into it but if it's x-cart's fault (which it very well could be) they're gonna charge me big bucks, which I definitely cannot afford. Before this all happened I did upload probably 1-2 MGS worth of images on my site. Can anyone help me out on this or even tell me how to disable the catalog feature for now??? I'm probably losing orders because of it.....ggggggrrrrrrrrrrr. BTW, I'm using 3.3.4

It cant find the html file you are looking for when you click on details.

When I click on mounted stamps, then new images, then details for striped hat clown face it looks for the file:
category_281_Mounted_Stamps_NEW_IMAGES_page_1.html
In the catalog directory. Is that file in that directory?

My understanding is that the reason the html file isn't there is because when I generate the catalog it's timing out and not producing them. If it didn't time out there would be an html file. The only think I can think of is that my catalog is too huge....ie too many photos, etc. I really have no clue how to fix this or even just have it generate the php files while I'm trying to figure out why this is happening.

Any other suggestions???

Yea it could be that its too big and erroring out. I pull my (print) catalog out of my local database through a specially made program.

Well Boomer helped me to up the time-out number in html_catalog.php and it catalog still timed out. So I'm upgrading to 3.3.5 since Boomer thinks it is easier. Also he said that catalog timing out doesn't have anything to do with me adding more detailed jpg's of products. Also if anyone wants to know an easy way to redirect your catalog to the php version is by editing

URL=catalog/

to

URL=customer/

in index.html

Well got it resolved by upgrading to 3.3.5.. So if others have the problem try upgrading.
