Hello,
I've been working on my store front design and there are a lot of sections or modules that I really don't want displayed on my homepage, such as bestsellers, featured products, help and gifts. Some of which I have found it easy to remove from the admin section but modules like featured products I cannot seem to get rid of. Every time I try and comment out a module my whole structure falls apart!
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

To remove featured products, open up customer/main/welcome.tpl and comment out the featured products include, like this:

{* {include file="customer/main/featured.tpl" f_products=$f_products} *}
