hi, i run a music store www.psystall.co.uk
i wanted to know which page allows u to edit the
'Quantity 50 item(s) available' in the details section of a product.

reason being is i dont want customers to know how many items i have of each product........

what i want to know, if anyone kind enough can help is...

which page do u need 2 edit?
and what line of code is it?

in your admin find the option to disable stock levels

by ticking that option does it mean the xcart wont subtract the stock if products are bought, as i want the system to run as my stock controller but not display the actual stock to the customers..

edit customer/main/product.tpl
