![]() What I'd like some pointers on is this:
How to add a text field on the checkout page that would receive customer input such as submitting a code along with the order? Ideally I'd like for the value to become a part of the customer's record and a part of the data set returned in emails to the customer and to our back end admins. What templates, what db tables, what includes are involved in this process? Will someone please provide some pointers or offer some examples. If the issue has already been addressed, just point me in that direction. Thanks in advance.

![]() Thank you. This is actually not an easy template edit, as you'd not only have to add the fields to the templates, but write it into the order functions of the php files as well.
