Default Wierd problem with {$ImagesDir}

{$ImagesDir} doesent seem to be parsing I get http://www.soldiersgear.com/customer/{$ImagesDir}/flag.png

but only in txt_welcome. I had an image in there before and it worked fine.

I thought perhaps it has something to do with permissions.

Any Ideas?

it wont parse the database content - you need to refer to this image by it's absolute address.

it will in the templates but not if you put that tag into the languages side. it wont parse them - just displays it.
