Default How easy is it to incorporate a new template?

Hi,
This may be a daft question but I have found a lovely website template design which I would love to have as my shop design.
How easy is it to incorporate a simple html or flash design into x-cart?

Is this something I would have to pay someone to do for me?

Thanks
Sherri

Hi,

I am pretty up to speed with most basic stuff (the last website I did was http://www.my-wedding-wishes.co.uk) which has been modified alot but the basic structure of the page remains as standard.

I wanted to change the layout of the storefont, so I don't think it would be beyond me. I have seen many of the members' websites which are very different from the standard layout choices but I wondered if there was a specific way to tackle this before I actually had a go.

Thanks

Just dive in and start making changes - always keeping a backup of the last thing that worked, so if you botch something up you don't lose ALL the edits to the template

Talking Re: How easy is it to incorporate a new template?

Thanks for you reply.
I will have a go.... just wasn't sure if there was anything that I mustn't do such as avoiding meddling with certain files etc...

It appears from your replies that there isn't any things to avoid in the process, so I'll just have a go.

Thanks

As long as you always make a backup, every template is fair game
