Hi All,
is your background color in this forum the light pink? Mine is and it's the same for my store. I read the tuturials posted by Ryan (thanks) but it doesn't say specifically which line item in skin1.css to change to alter the overall background color. This pink is a comination of ff6600 & ff6633.
I want to change it to a soft blue 6666ff.

Look for those hex codes in your css file and change them If you are talking about the far background color, that is probably the body tag.

Moving this to template editing, and no, the background for this forum is yellow?

now that's intersting, there must be a "connection" between the forums and my cart because the color scheme is the same.

Anyway, I change it the only place I found the pink hex code in skin1.css and it only made my admin titles the light blue. I'll keep changing things until I find the right line item but can you tell me if I'm at least looking in the right place, skin1.css?

Look at line 29 in your skin1.css file, should be a body tag that is setting the color. And I think you need to calibrate your monitor...the forum, and your site are both using a yellow background (FFFBD3) not pink
