Default Link to Category from Featured Products
OK - so I'd like to edit the featured products so that it displays a link to the Product Category.

How can I do that?

OK - I've got as far as this - which formulates the link, but doesn't carry the id.

Code:
<a href="home.php?cat={$c.categoryid}">&raquo;&nbsp;{ $c.category}</a>
I think I need it to carry the product id aswell - so it can find out the correct cat to display

Anyone?

hi Tye,

I am waiting for a response to this thread as well. Please let me know if you figured this out. I am planning on making nice images to display on the homepage with pictures of my products as links their respective categories.

I think your best bet would be to hard-code this in welcome.tpl, as you'd need to rewrite the whole featured products module to be 'featured categories' instead.

How can I do that?

I still wanted to keep the Featured Products - but just link to the category of the product aswell as keeping the featured product
