![]() Hi All,
As usual looking for some help from somebody smarter than me here in the forums. I want to add a slide show to the home.php page. Ideally this is what I would like to do. Add another table to the welcome.tpl so that there are 2 tables. The one on the left side has some kind of welcome copy there, then put a table to the right of that one that will contain a small slide show, ( I found a script I like at dynamic drive.com) Getting better with xcart but still have a long way to go before I understand it all. ( if that is even possible) Am I correct in thinking that to do what I want I need to add another table to the welcome.tpl?, or is there a better method to do this? If adding a second table is correct would I then add the script for the slide show into that table or would I mimic the if{} examples I see and add one for the script to the table? Looking for a little help with how to do this best ( code)- as I am in over my head here. Ideally I would like to make the table on the left ( welcome txt message ) occupy about 40% of the welcome.tpl area with the remaining 60% being dedicated to the slde show table. Hope I have explained this correctly , as usual any and all help is greatly appreciated in advanced. I am humbled by how smart and giving some of the people are in this forum ![]() Scott V

![]() Yep, that is correct. I'd use <div> tags personally, but if you are more comfortable with tables that will work as well. If you want to use one of the Dynamic Drive scripts, chances are you will need to put JS in the head tag, which means you would have to add it to customer/home.tpl.

I think I can do the <div> was not thinking aabout that when i made the post, I thought I could explain it better using tables as an example. Need to run now but may need to pick your brain a little bit more on this later, have to leave now. Thanks again - As always your a huge help.
