When I enable Webmaster mode and Zone Alarm (firewall) at the same time (in my local test site in WinXP platform), the debugging console popup doesn't come out. All work well when I close the firewall. The same things happen both in Firefox and IE. I was wondering if anybody knew how to setup Zone Alarm in order to have both this running and the debugging console popup coming out. (I guess it's more of a firewall question....)

It no doubt depends on your version of ZA but the older versions used to have a setting named something like "Allow Popups from these sites" and you can put your local site in the list so that ZA knows how to handle it.
I guess it's still the same in newer versions although it might be worded something different but it should be in the firewall settings.
It may also depend on the local server you are running and how it shows the address of your local site, because some may list your site as 127.0.0.1 where as some might actually have some reference to the server software or your web site folder, which ever it is should be able to be added to your firewall exception list to allow pop ups

Ok, thanks a lot, I solved it. In Zone Alarm I went through Privacy > Site List > Add (here you add the domain of the site, e.g. www.somedomain.com) and you click on it's entry in the list and then click on the Options button, go to the Ad Blocking tab and uncheck the "Pop-up/pop-under" checkbox.
