Hey guys anyone have this problem before ,up until a few minutes ago I had 3 featured products ,I went in an updated them and now only 1 will appear ,any ideas on a setting I have missed or messed up

Could be a couple of things that I can think of.

1. Navigate to categories in the admin menu. At the botom of the page is your featured products. Make sure you have all the ones that you want to show selected.

2. Depending on your settings, x-cart may hide products that are out of stock (in 1 of your general settings, settings) Ensure that the featured products you have selected are in stock if you have these feature active

3. you can select featured products on a category by category basis. ensure that if you have done this you repeat steps 1 and 2 above

Ok I got it working but not for any of the reasons above but thank you for the reply.

I found something really wierd had happend

I log into admin Via internet explorer 7
goto categories and featured products
in my list I tired adding 10 different things but only the 1 would keep on showing up.
I sent an email to my friend annoyed and he went in and looked and he added featured products and explained to me how to do it.
I had no problem doing this before so I went back in to admin and what he added to featured products was not even in my list in admin
Now Im scaratching my head ,Im a noob and all but I have done this before and now I am wondering what the hell I am doing wrong.

For the hell of it I logged out of EI7 and logged in admin in Firefox
and sure enough the featured products are totally different.So I added some more and it worked fine.

Log out of admin
log back in EI7 and now they are back to normal until I go and add another featured product and it goes back to all the products I had before and will not update.

I have attached pictures of both admin of featured products in EI and Firefox

Any ideas
also note this also happend after my format so there was no history on my machine.

had to log into Firefox for forums ,EI wouldnt upload ,imagine that

Easy, don't use IE except for verifying design changes to templates / css code! Sorry, sounds like a mystery to me and I am but a poor novice...
