I have a quick question. I installed a mod t hat gave me my newest products on my home page...but I would really like to have newest products also listed in my category list. Is there a way to get that over there? I know...I can add the category of course...but I want it to show all the newest products as I add them automatically to that category as I add them to my store.

it was the newest products mod from cart-labs. There were 4 newest product templates to install....and then just changed the file name on one of them so that it would display in columns on my homepage. Does that help at all?

I've tried one of the mods listed on here about having newest products listed first in a category and had it working on an older version of xcart...but can't get it to work with the version I have now or I would just make an extra category on the side and just add products to that as I add them to my store...but that just alpha orders them. SO...if I had a way to order them newest first....then that would work just as well.....but I'm lost as to how to do it. ??

I did find this here in the forums which helps since it's a one person store.
