I am in the process of upgrading from oscommerce to xcart.
I have xcart 4.1.5 installed and everything has been customized and it runs perfectly.
Here's my problem,
I would like to replace the header and footer in our current site (non-shopping cart section) with the xcart header and footer.
I want to allow my customers that are researching products or reading articles to have direct access to logging in, search and cart features.
Can someone please tell me if this is possible.

My entire site is php so that wont be an issue. I am simply having trouble getting only the header to show without losing functionality.
