![]() I was checking the templates out in various browsers, and have trouble with the default templates with Netscape 4.7.
Particularly home.tpl, the top banner is broken. I realise this is an older browser, but clients still run with older versions and should be supported. I also ran the published pages (i.e. view/source from my store home page) and ran the result through tidy. Also there appears to an error in the mark up in the use of forms within tables. I don't know if this is causing any problems but tidy said it should be fixed. Dreamweaver also doesn't like it. |

![]() Th eproblem with the top bar on nn4 is the tiled background really - obviosuly if you are going to be making mods to suit nn4 users then either change that html or put a browser sniffer in to do the job.
The form tags - diff story - will not cause a problem in any browser that I have worked with across pc/macs etc - just not necessarily neat coding. Reason to put it outside of table cells is cos the form tag creates a default space and unless you change this with style sheet settings, you will have a totally disjointed page and not know why. my biggest issue with the code is not these things but the lack of "" in the assigning of values. ![]() ![]()
