![]() We have created Membership categories for our Tax Exempt cusomters.
The problem comes when the tax exempt customers are in California(our location), they are still charged tax on the orders. What I did: 1. Created "tax exempt" membership level 2. Created "tax exempt" in taxes list .....a. formula (=ST+SH) .....b. billing address .....c. Tax Rate: ..........1. Purchaser type "tax exempt" ..........2. Rate value: 0.00% ..........3. formula (=ST+SH) ..........4. Zone (Callifornia) I don't know what I missed that keeps causing the California Tax Exempt customers to be charged tax at checkout. Also, I did the above for another membership level called "Reseller". The resellers receive wholesale prices, but are still charged tax if they are from California. X-Carts seems to be making this more complicated by not providing any information (only asking questions that I answered in my initial help request). PLEASE!!!!! Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? It's the only thing keeping my store from going live. Thanks!!!
