Default Home.tpl, please help cause I am stuck...

Hello,
on my site http://www.officenexus.com/home.php to the far left, you will see that the navigation menu is pushed a few pixels to the right (maybe 3-5px) I know that home.tpl controls this and there is a small column
that is on the far left causing it.

I have tried over a dozen time to recreate home.tpl without it so the navigation menu is flush left, but each an every time the site gets mushed around, the product pages become huge, or the navigation bar becomes 400px wide!! I am at a loss, can anyone help me figure out the coding for home.tpl.

Thank you so much.

Your home.tpl starts off like this:

Code:
<TABLE border="0" width="780px" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center"> <TR> <TD width="6" rowspan="2"></TD> <TD width="150" valign="top">

Try commenting out the first column TD so that it looks like this:

Code:
<TABLE border="0" width="780px" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center"> <TR> {*<TD width="6" rowspan="2"></TD>*} <TD width="150" valign="top">

Amazing! I tried for 5 hours to get that to work (by recreating the HTML) but that did the trick. Thank you so much. Now perhaps I you could help me figure out what the search, contact, and your account pages, push the whole site to the left about 10 px, but the rest of the site seems fine..
Thanks!

I don't notice a difference on those pages at all. What browser are you using?

It looks like your left border is still off a bit, but in the other direction now. Maybe leave that TD in there, but change the width to 1 or 2, and remove the - that might make it line up exactly.

Hmm, in firefox it does jump a bit... odd. Thank you again. I will fix that up.

Yea, I've noticed on a lot of the sites that I've designed, that Firefox will jump between pages where the content fits on the page, and pages where you have to scroll down to view all of the content.
