Hi folks, hope you can help me.

I have used x-cart in a site and I've managed to get most of it working the way I want with one exception. When you enter the site, you go to the home page, from there you can access other pages or enter the store. I would like to add the "News" section from store, to the homepage, but I can't seem to get it all to work.

Any suggestions or guidance would be much appreciated.

Hi Robin...can you add the X-Cart version you are working with to your signature so we can help you better? Also, if you could post a link to the front page of your store so we can see what you are talking about that would help as well. Thanks!

Hmmm...you are not going to be able to pull the news section into your home page because the php is not loaded yet. In order for that to work, you would need to load X-Cart right off the bat. The way you have the site set up now, it only loads when you go to a category. You would need to re-design X-Cart to look like your entry page (the home.tpl and welcome.tpl templates). If you did that, you could eliminate the categories, help and specials menu, as you already have links to those items. Right now it looks kind of strange when you go to a category because you have the duplicate menus that show up below the image menus.
