I need a large Extra Field
I need to store a large amount of html formatted text (>255 chars) in an Extra Field for each product.
This could contain Specification tables etc. I understand that I need to charge the type of the underlying MySQL field to text?. Do I need to make any other changes to the Extra Field modules etc? Perhaps I should keep the html formatted text in a separate file and import it when it needs to be displayed? I would appreciate an expert's advice.

Re: I need a large Extra Field
You can find a few solutions searching inside the Forum. We talked in the past about this. Normally altering DB->Table for that field will do the job.
