Default Can I add tpl scripts in Default editor and WYSIWYG editor

I noticed that xcart has a (Default editor and WYSIWYG editor). I have some tpl files with some small scripts that display the page # and category listings and stuff like that.

Q. I know that i can insert text and images but can i insert a table with some some scripting in it and it into the editors and it will show up on the site?

Depends on the script. If the script requires that some code be placed in the <head> of your page, you need to insert that into home.tpl.
