Hi,
My web host had been really slow (10-15 seconds for all pages to even start loading) so I'm moving my x-cart to another server. I'm trying out a test install before the big day, and have done the following: 1 Installed xcart 2 copied my skin1 directory to the new server 3 copied my database But.... The edits I have made to the templates on the old site (which are now copied over) are only being updated when I go and 'save' the template again on the new server, via the admin area. I realise this is a problem with the template cache, so I've considered clearing the cache, but last time I did this I caused loads of damage to my site. Thankfully the customer side was restored by changing the templates_c directory to a brand new one, but the admin side remains a little distorted on my old server. So I don't really want to risk that again. Is there anyone who knows a handly little script to go and 'save' *all* the templates so that I don't have to save each individually, in order that no edited templates are accidentally overlooked? Thanks, Richard |

For future information you can use cleanup.php from the xcart/ root installation to clear the contents of templates_c/ (the cached tpl files) in case you are getting unwanted results from the templates.
