Default Failed Order Email to Admin instead of Customer

I am back working on a very old item on my to do list regarding Failed Orders. We get our share of Failed orders and we always contact the customer as soon as we can to see if we can resolve the reason as to why the order failed. Generally we are always able to recover a lost sale this way. With that said I am trying to modify X-cart so that it will email the Admin and not the customer when an order comes in as Failed. func.order.php contains the code that sends the email to the customer but I am not sure how to modify it so that it will send the email to Admin instead of the customer. Any help would be appreciated.
