Links and butons not working in Admin area

Default Links and buttons not working in Admin area
I have been doing a lot of work on setting up a 4.2.2 installation but I have just noticed that after several days modding some of the links and buttons in the admin area have stopped working and give errors in the console like checkMarks is not defined and submitForm is not defined.

Anyone got any ideas what would have caused this as I dont want to have to start my store from scratch?
