im using modules/Fast_Lane_Checkout/home.tpl

and once you enter the cart page the main horizontal nav disappears. very confusing. anyone had experiences like this?

That is by design - you want your checkout to be as clean as possible - which means minimal links to distract the customer. See amazon.com for a perfect example. If you want it back, you need to edit your fast lane pages and add the missing pieces back in.

thanks i was realized it was on purpose once i got into the head tpl

it does make sense, i just made it adjust the look so it looks like its supposed to not be there instead of just no loading. i guess thats due to the skin i started with.

Personally, I don't like that it disappears in the cart, as people often want to add more and can't get out of there I like to just remove it from the checkout itself.
