Helup...I was tinkering around with the home.tpl and CSS to break up my menus and now my categories menu has decided to go extra wide on me : and sit about 10 pixels off the margin.

I'm damned if I can find what was changed that could cause this to happen.

Does any body haev any ideas as to what I should be looking for and in what template ?... I'm completely stuck on this

That separator gif and the cellpadding might not go together well. Does it go back to normal when you take the separator gifs out?

Just a guess.

Thanks shasan you are absolutely right....

for some reason the separator gif was causing the problem although it was fine prior to breaking up the menus.

I have trimmed the graphic down and now it comes up just fine. IБ─≥ve grown to like the cell padding and will try and figure out how to get the right side menu the same.

no problem.

What I would suggest is making the separator gif only a couple of pixels wide and giving it a width="100%" attribute in the HTML.

From what I saw, this shouldn't affect how the gif looks (cuz it looked fairly plain), but it will save you custom-sizing the gif for every application.
