Default New Section/Heading in User Profile Options

Hi,

In Admin, under General Settings, I changed the label of Contact Information to display Contact Information of Sender. I wanted to create a new heading called Contact Information of Recipient and have the same fields as the sender has with the checkboxes next to them. How would I go about doing this?

Or since I really only need a phone and mobile for the recipient, am I better off creating say a phone2 and a mobile2 field and placing them in the Contact Information section, then changing the register_contact_info.tpl to display these fields under a new heading but with different names using labels so the customer can see phone and mobile even though the valus is stored in phone2 and mobile2.

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Can anyone help me with this? I tried creating some additional fields but I am struggling with the layout of them in the registration page. I want one of the additional fields being a Mobile to be under the Contact Information heading (I have renamed the label to read Contact Information of Sender) and a new heading called "Contact Information of Receiver" I want another two additional text boxes to display for the recipient's phone and mobile number.

The problem I see is the additional fields are handled with a foreach loop and I need to deal with them separately because I need to separate the sender's mobile with the recipient's mobile number as they belong to two different headings.

I'm actually trying to figure out how to do the something very similar, but have been stuck since as you mentioned the additional fields are handled by a foreach loop. There seems to be no way to create an additional field and have it placed in the exact position you want it to be. For instance, I have tried to create an "Address Line 3" box but there is no way for me to have this text field appear directly under "Address Line 2" as I would like it to.

Have you had any luck in figuring this one out?

Hey Scoobie,

With a lot of help from Ene, I was able to complete this task. It involves playing around with and modifying a few files.. if you're up for the task, check out the following thread: http://forum.x-cart.com/showthread.php?t=39636

Good luck!
