Is there any way to add a thumnail to catagroy link

Default Is there any way to add a thumnail to catagroy link
When a user clicks a certain category, the next screen then shows subcategory if active, stating how may products are listed under that category.

Is there anyway to add an image to that link rather than just showing the number of products listed within
