Default wallpaper
Does andbody know how to change my header template so that I can have the script pick 1 of 7 different wallpapers instead of just 1 static wallpaper?

Well, first you would need a script to do that and then you would need to integrate it into head.tpl and customer/home.tpl.

I know where I need to put the script, I just don't have any idea how to write the script. I
