Default Item Reviews

I did a search on reviews and and there are a lot of things about costumer reviews. However that is not what I am looking for.

A lot of times with my product, reviews are done about them. What I want is a place to put who did the review and a link to where the guest can go find it so they can make a better decision about the item they may or may not purchase. Much like this

http://www.koolance.com/press/reviews.html

but instead of it being on one page I want the review to be on the item page the guest was looking at. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

Sorry no as I stated in the first post this is not for customers. It is for product reviews. What I want is a link to a site that has done a review on said product.

Say Joe's Electronics got a product from Intel. Joe tested the product and even tried to overclock the product. He bench marked his results and made it available to consumers. In turn Consumers read the product review and see if it would work with the system they want to build.

Ultimately what I would want is a window much like detailed images that I could add a possible thumbnail of the company who did the reviews logo and a link to the product review.

How about just hard coding it into the product description?

Balinor,

I really wish I could do that but I am not very good at code. You see I paid a developer to design my site over a year ago and I got it half done. I was able to find someone else who was familiar with Xcart to get the site functional but I didn't have the money to finish the design.

Over the past year the old developer has promised to finish the design and well they never got done. So I rely on this form to find possible ways to improve my site and I try and do it myself.

To be honest I was hoping someone had already done it and was willing to share the code.

Sorry to hear that you have had some bad experiences with developers. It is unfortunate, as most of us are professional and do what we are paid to do in a timely manner.

In any event, you may want to browse through the custom mods forum...there may be some manufacturer specific mods in there. Other than that, I don't know of any pre-made solutions.
