This might be a really easy question, but on need some help on creating a pop up for the "Contact Us" form located in the
help.php?section=contactus&mode=update area of the cart.

Can someone help me do this.

How can I get just the fields to display and not the categories or other menues on the site show up.

You would need to use an external contact form, as the contact form and help sections are built into the structure of X-Cart. You could create a static page (not embedded) and copy the code for the contact form into that page, but that is probably more trouble than it is worth as the contact form is pretty well embedded in the site.
