![]() Hi. I wonder if anyone can help me..
We want to change the format of all the emails that get sent out because currently they are a mess. They look like this:- This is an order 186 notification. Order id: #186 Order date: 22.06.2005 11:28 Order status: I Customer's info: --------------------- Username: anonymous28 First Name: Stuart Last Name: Cox Billing Address: ---------------- Address: 10 Street City: Wedley County: West Midlands Country: United Kingdom (Great Britain) Post Code: DD3 2GG Shipping Address: ----------------- Address: 10 Some Street City: Readey County: West Midlands Country: United Kingdom (Great Britain) Post Code: YY3 2YY Phone: 01229 1111128 Fax: E-Mail: bla@someemail.freeserve.co.uk URL: Credit card information: ------------------------ Cardholder's name: Card type: Card number: Exp. date: Ship to: Stuart Cox I have scoured the forums for which templates they are and have tried adding 's into places but to no avail. Somehow I don't think they are the right templates. Also, when going through a test transaction with SecPay I get the error:- Warning: Bad arguments to join() in /home/virtual/site32/fst/var/www/html/xcart/payment/cc_secpay.php on line 82 I'm not good enough at php and xcart to figure this out, but to some knowledgable type out there they may just say "a-ha" (Hope so) When this error occurs, Secpay says "unexpected error" but I still receive the emails. Can anyone help me and point me in the right direction?

![]() Might want to try restoring the e-mail templates, as they might have been corrupted. All the e-mail templates are in mail/html. Also be sure to turn on html e-mail in General Settings, as the e-mails come through looking a lot different if html is not used.

![]() Rambox,
Don't know if i can say 'a-ha' (not an Alan Partridge fan, are you?), but I did experience something similar with my install of XC: Try: 1. As Balinor says, restore your email templates. I'd be inclined to go the whole hog and restore /mail and mail/html (assuming you haven't customised any of them - if you have, at least back 'em up first) 2. For the purposes of testing, goto admin->General settings->email notification options and check everything. 3. Try sending text first (goto admin->General settings->email options->untick html email) ...and then test with an end-to-end transaction. If that work's, enable html (reverse of step 3) and try again. If you still don't have any luck: - Check it's nothing to do with the interface you're using to your inbox. Local client (Outlook, Eudora, etc) should be fine, but you might get some odd formatting if you're viewing an html email as text (e.g. as in Mail2web.com) - Not too sure it's relevant, but play around with the 'Encode email headers using base 64' in email settings It might be worth posting your secpay problem separately in the 'payment issues' section. Also, if you're not already running 4.0.14, the changelog indicates some changes to the payment area that may be relevant to you.
