Default Initial notification for Order # Email Removal

I am running 4.4.1 and trying to remove the email "Initial notification for Order" Its sending an email to the customer as they are in checkout process as "Not finished" prior to them entering their cc data. Id like to just stop that all together. Any help ? Ive tried to research some and I am just missing it im sure.

Settings/notifications. And 4.4.1 is not good for a live store, consider upgrading to at least 4.4.4

Why is not good for a live store? I am interested to know please so that I can make a decision on upgrading!

Usually the first issue of a new release is filled with bugs. These bugs are fixed in later releases.

For your original problem, turn off (uncheck) "Enable email notifications for customer about placed orders (online payment methods)" in the "email notifications" section of admin. The customer will get an email when the order is processed anyway.
