![]() Hello,
I've been doing a lot of searching for Vietnamese for X-Cart, but I've been unsuccessful. It looks like I'll be creating it from scratch. 1st - I'm running v4.4.x, new installation. I thought I could export English to a CSV file, rename it and upload it as Vietnamese. Then my wife would start translating. Well, it's not that easy, it never is. When editing language variables within the Admin interface, the characters don't appear correctly. If we use the WYSIWYG editor it appears correct, but it's incorrect after saving. The storefront displays them incorrectly too. I've set the charset to UTF-8 and changed my SQL database from latin1 to UTF-8. We just can't seem to input the language. There's a lot of threads about languages, but none of them seem to pertain to Vietnamese. It's a hell of a language so I'd like to just be able to copy and paste. ![]() Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

![]() Ok, I figured it out. I had to change the default font to arial for the store front and admin sections. I previously edited the func.db.php file for SQL entries to be sure to go in as UTF-8, or at least I think that's what that did. If you would like to shed any light on what I did, I would surely like to understand better.
